Slick Rick Performs at "Sounds of the City"

Slick Rick headlined "The Golden Era"--a free concert and part of NJPAC's annual Sounds of the City summer concert series. Others on the bill included local legends and old-school icons, such as Soul Sonic Force, Hakim Green, and Lord of the Underground.

After tearing up the stage, Slick Rick also got a chance to kick it with the kids who are enrolled in NJPAC's Hip-hop summer program, which focuses on the five core elements of the genre. Check out pics below:
