Slick Rick & Andy King Bring Joy to Hundreds of Kids

The Bronx Youth Empowerment Program and Councilman Andy King hosted their annual community holiday event, ‘Sharing is Caring’, on Christmas Eve. Bronx-native and music legend Ricky Walters, better known as Slick Rick, partnered with his local councilman Andy King to sponsor event festivities.
The event drew about 400 children and their families from a nearby family shelter, NYCHA developments and the community.
